11+ Summer Courses
Spaces available for summer 2020
Maple’s eleven plus summer courses are 3-day courses from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in our centre near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Our 11+ courses and mocks are aimed for the Bucks Transfer Test.
Our teachers will cover examination strategies and how to think positively. The 11+ course will widen the knowledge base of pupils in order that they are equipped to answer the very challenging English, verbal, maths and non-verbal questions. Further information about the test can be found on the Bucks County council website.

A ‘win-win’ strategy
Helping your child to prepare for the 11+ is a ‘win-win’ strategy. Even if he/she does not pass, professional tutoring will expand her/his knowledge base, in preparation for secondary school and the life-changing GCSE exams. Furthermore, your child will learn the necessary life skills of personal organisation, good work ethic and a quest to do well.
In 2020, we will conduct the intensive course in small classes of 8 using our own resources and unique, thematic teaching methods. Although teachers will train children to approach a very challenging test with confidence, it is not designed to fill in knowledge gaps. Therefore, we will expect all children on this course to have achieved required levels. We also offer 11+ full mock exams on Sundays from January 2020.
