We provide tuition in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire premier tutorial school in the South East, we love teaching children and are specialists in preparing them for the 11+, SATS and GCSE exams. We enrol from Year 2. Give your child a head start. The first seven years of education are probably the most important, as knowledge gained in these years forms the foundations for all future learning. It is never too early to instil children with a love of learning, and a sense of wonder and awe.

We have been helping children prepare for the Buckinghamshire 11+ exam - now called the Bucks Transfer Test - for over ten years. Doing well in the Transfer Test requires above-average abilities in numeracy, literacy, verbal reasoning and, above all, confidence.
Find out how Maple can help secondary school children at KS3. Year 7 - that all important first year of secondary school - is an enormous step for all children. There will be plenty of homework, so independent learning skills are crucial, as is developing longer attention spans. If these elements are learned in years 7 and 8, your child will be well on her way to success by the time she sits her GCSEs.
New GCSEs in English language, English literature and Maths will be taught in schools in England from September 2015, with the first results to be issued in August 2017. Over the following two years, further subjects will see the introduction of new GCSEs.
New AS and A-levels will be taught from September 2015. This means that the first results for the new AS-levels will be in 2016, and the first results for the new A-levels will be in 2017. As we are passionate about getting good exam results, we teach students individually, in small groups of 3 for AS and A2.
We know that taking an exam as a private candidate can be overwhelming and daunting, especially when you are unsure of the procedures. We can take you step-by-step through the process of registering for an exam. Please take note of our registration deadlines below, so as to avoid leaving it too late to book your exams. Your child will spend a friendly hour in a typical Maple setting. She/he will undertake a variety of tasks so we can understand her/his current academic levels, confidence and attitude to learning. At the beginning of the session, your child will be introduced to the other members of the class during circle time and work through a series of activities, some independently and some with the teacher.
